This beautifully crafted wardrobe with two drawers and two full-length mirrors is sure to be the perfect addition to a large hallway or bedroom. Somewhat narrower from front to bac k than a normal wardrobe, this traditional hallrobe is an ideal storage solution for coats, shoes and other outdoor items. The main body is split into two sections. There are a number of hooks for hanging coats, a full-width rail either side, plus plenty of space for shoes, boots or other items. The base of the unit features two deep full-width drawers offering additional storage. It is worth noting that full-size hangers won’t fit inside this wardrobe unless they’re positioned on a slant, due to the shallow internal depth of 40cm. Our restoration workshop has stripped the original finish from this item before applying a fresh matt lacquer that enhances the natural wood grain and provides a good level of everyday protection.
