A large serving plate handcrafted by Genuemongama in Tanba-sasayama. Shinogi technique was used for this plate, which is decorative techniques and applied by skilled craftsmen. Beautiful earthy design and perfect plate size to place Sashimi or carpaccio kind of dish. You will find blue in the white glaze and it looks so beautiful. Pottery crafts which are produced in Tamba-Sasayama area, is called Tambayaki. As one of six oldest kilns in Japan, it has supported people's lives for more than 800 years.
