Its unique design embodies the sty le of Gansu furniture, which was once abundant in the region. Originally, only two doors were included, but the sides have been opened and a shelf added during restoration for added practicality. The thick frames of the cabinet, sculpted in a distinctive 'deer hoof' pattern, extend into the top and provide a sturdy base. After undergoing sympathetic restoration and finishing, the gorgeous natural tones of the walnut wood shine through.
