S.G Emmett tins are made using traditional methods so the squares and rectangles are cut, notched, folded and then joined together using a hammer on an anvil. Wires are rolled into the top for strength. The bread tins are made using a heavier metal to make a crust on the bread and a soft centre. Measurements: 9cm x 13.5cm x 24cm (at widest point) Made in Tasmania Care Instructions: this tin has been coated with a thin layer of cooking oil to protect it; hand wash is warm water using mild soap or detergent, do not use harsh abrasives. Dry thoroughly in a warm oven; to season coat it in a very fine layer of olive oil and place it in a cold oven upside down, bring the oven temperature up to very hot. Bake for 20 minutes then allow to cool. You may wish to repeat; and with care these tins will last a lifetime.
