Another beautiful cuvée from Laurent’s Roche Blanche estate. La Pause is made from 100% Gamay from 50-year-old vines. 2024 was cooler vintage for the Roche Blanche estate, with all of Laurent’s wines showing fantastic balance and structure. The grapes underwent a two-week whole bunch maceration before being pressed into 500l barrel and 40hl wood vat for 8 months élevage. La Pause is wonderfully silky, with a featherweight lightness, but still with quite beautiful fruit. A very elegant, fresh and juicy style. Show more
