The L’Autovox iHORN is made from an antique brass French made car horn which was mounted on Model T era vehicles. The oval shaped mounting bracket which bolted to the firewall indi cates that the horn was patented in 1908. These horn was connected to a bulb which was inside the cab of the Model T and was squeezed to emit the horn noise. As originally constructed, the opening of the horn had a screen which kept foreign particles from entering the horn. L’Autovox horns are highly collectible and valued in the vintage automobile collector market. The L’Autovox iHorn is part of the industrial revolution and early Americana. It is historic in the manner in which it contributed to the automotive experience. Show more
