Lava Chalice (Echinophyllia sp.) Is a large polyp stony (LPS) coral which encrusts at first, then grows outwards into a wide, flat plate. It is red with streaks that brcome more pr ominent as it grows. As with other chalice coral it requires low to moderate light and moderate, indirect flow with stable water parameters in the recommended ranges.
