Original Oil By Trijsten Leach Art Size: 9" x 12" Framed Art: 12" x 15" During our trip we were able to visit part of the Jurassic coast, a rugged section of coastline in southern England where fossils from the Jurassic period abound. We hiked to see and paint these beautiful cliffs. Unfortunately our excursion was cut short by a storm that blew in. Artist Bio: Trijsten Leach grew up in the Santa Cruz mountains of California and gained an early love of the forests, oceans and mountains. Growing up he spent his time surfing, hiking, biking with brothers and friends, as well as playing sports. He earned a BFA from Brigham Young University Hawaii, where he lived for three years studying art and the beach. After graduation Trijsten would move to central Utah where he met his wife and now currently resides with her and his four children. It was seven years after graduation before Trijsten would start painting professionally. Since that time he has received numerous awards from various plein air competitions in the west, and has done numerous solo exhibitions of his work. For the past seven years he has traveled abroad with his family, painting along the way and enjoying the beauty of new places and cultures. Most recently, he and his family spent the spring in England and France preparing for his upcoming exhibition: Across the Channel: An Artists Journey
