It may grow in its organic pot for several weeks until you are ready to plant it. Your Lavender will appreciate being watered only when the soil is almost dry. Never stand it in a saucer of water, as the tender roots may suffocate if they are constantly wet. This plant's compost has been enriched with organic nutrients so it will thrive in its new home. In a few months it will be time to add more nourishment, especially when it is flowering. Plant your Lavender in a pot 25-30cm wide with holes for drainage and top up with an organic compost.
