One such creation were the Lavender Biscuits, made with homegrown flowers that infused each bite with tranquility and delight. The intoxicating aroma drew us in. With dollop of butter and a bit of marmalade we were enchanted. We hope you will feel the same with our version of their beloved baked treat. LAVENDER BISCUIT MIX (GF) - Christmas Cracker Wrap. INGREDIENTS: Rice, Tapioca and Arrowroot flour, Baking Powder, Kosher Salt, and Lavender. (GF) Instructions 1 tbsp Honey, 1/4 cup butter (room temperature) 1/2 cup warm heavy cream (with 1 tbsp vinegar added to it) Preheat the oven to 450°F. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Grate the cold butter into the flour mixture and use a fork to gently incorporate it until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Incorporate the honey. Add the warm heavy cream/vinegar mixture (with the lavender packet) and use a fork to gently mix just until a shaggy dough forms. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and pat it into a 1-inch thick round. Use a 2 1/2-inch round cutter to cut out the biscuits, pressing the scraps together once. Place the biscuits on a baking sheet and chill for 15 minutes before baking for 18-20 minutes, until golden brown. Made in the USA with Pride! Store in a cool, dark, dry place.
