Lavender is one of my favorite flowers. My mom has always had the most gorgeous giant bushes of it, and that sweet summer smell takes me right back home. The design inspiration als o comes from the song Lavender’s Blue. It’s a 17th-century English folk song, but I learned it by way of Nancy Cassidy on one of the Kid Songs albums when I was little. Burl Ives also has a lovely version. This hand-carved espresso cup will make your morning extra fancy, extra folksy, and extra cute.
