Level 5 Moisturizers are your answer, but if your skin is cracked open, then it is very damaged and you'll need to follow these guidelines for success: Start with a spritzer:Spray your skin to help hydrate it first. This will allow your skin to absorb the moisturizer more effectively. Warrior, Firefly, Lemon Laughs, and Sagerow Spritzers are a good options as they have antibacterial benefits, which aids in tissue repair. Less is more: After spritzing the area, apply Level 5. Just remember, LEVEL 5 is concentrated, and a little goes a long way. Use enough to cover your skin— and rub it in well. If you feel a greasy residue, you've just used too much. Spread it around better and use less next time. Rub it in well: Make sure to rub it into your skin until you can't feel any residue. As your skin heals, it will start to absorb the moisturizer faster and better. Then, you'll need less of the spritzer in order to achieve good absorption. Frequent application at first:Initially, use at least twice a day, but every hour or two would be best. Spritz first, then apply the moisturizer. As your skin improves, you can apply it less frequently—just ensure to use it in the morning and evening to maintain healthy skin. Avoid greasiness: LEVEL 5 should never leave you feeling greasy. If it does, you're using too much, and your skin isn't absorbing it properly. Use smaller amounts at more regular intervals.
