The Lawrence Hat is a beautiful ‘basic’ hat, worked in rib stitch 1x1. It’s your perfect ‘everyday’ hat. And although it is worked on 3 mm needles, it knits up pretty quickly! So y ou can make lots of hats in different colours! You can use 1 strand of fingering merino held together with a laceweight strand (such as a silk mohair, a suri alpaca or a laceweight cashmere) , or combine 2 strands of suri alpaca or use just 1 strand of yarn, as long as the gauge is a match.
