Laxettes Senna Laxative Chocolate is a chewable laxative tablet for the treatment of constipation. Each square contains 12mg of sennosides A & B as the active ingredient. The chocolate-format tablet is designed to be easy to chew, with directions for adults and children over 12 years to take 1 to 3 tablets as a single dose. The pack states overnight relief action, with effective relief in 8 hours. This pack contains 24 chewable tablets, providing a clearly measured option for short-term constipation treatment. The product directions specify use at bedtime or as advised by a health care practitioner, with a maximum of 3 chewable tablets in 24 hours unless on medical advice. INSTRUCTIONS Adults & children over 12 years: Take 1 to 3 chewable tablets as a single dose. Take dose at bedtime or as advised by your health care practitioner. Increase fibre in diet except in cases of medication-induced constipation (eg with codeine). Prolonged use of laxatives is undesirable and may lead to dependence.
