Asa LC Liner (purple) is a Light Cure resin modified Calcium Hydroxide/Tricalcium Phosphate pulp protectant/liner fortified with Hydroxyapatite. It is designed to protect the pulpal complex and to be used as an orifice barrier over endodontic obturation material. Its unique Active Release Technology is useful in pulp capping and as protective base/ liner under dental filing materials, cements and other restorative materials. The added purple color allows optimum visibility with the access cavity. It is supplied in paste form which can be syringed using delivery tips. Indications: Endodontic Orifice Barrier: The liner can be used as an effective orifice barrier over obturation material. The purple color would aid the clinician to assess the access cavity during final restoration procedure. Direct pulp cap: The liner can be placed directly over the exposed dental pulp after achieving complete hemostasis. Indirect pulp cap: The liner can be used as a pulp protecting agent in deep cavities.
