It pinpoints bad capacitors and inductors in-circuit, and is described as the only tester that dynamically analyzes capacitors out of circuit for all four failures: value, equivalent series resistance (ESR), leakage, and dielectric absorption (DA).The system is built to test a wide range of industrial components: IGBTs, SCRs, switching transformers, power transistors, capacitors (including mica and industrial capacitors), and power diodes.
