RP97 "The small vineyard (17 acres) has produced one wine of extraordinary dimensions. The 1982 Bon Pasteur continues to remind me of a 1947 Pomerol given its viscosity and opulent , flamboyant, exaggerated style. Unquestionably, it is the finest Bon Pasteur made to date. The black/purple color reveals only slight amber at the edge. The nose offers up huge, jammy aromas of black fruits, roasted nuts, and sweet oak.
