Le Cerchie Stainless Steel Tray, by Michele De Lucchi for Alessi Michele De Lucchi designs Le Cerchie, a round tray/centrepiece that encapsulates the minimalist style of the Italia n architect. The 3-step edge is the distinctive feature of the project: an architectural design which, as the name suggests (‘cerchie’ is Italian for circles), is reminiscent of a square surrounded by a staircase. Le Cerchie brings to mind a kind of classical amphitheatre whose actors are the objects placed at the center of the tray.
