When Poul Christiansen designed Model 36 in 1976, the idea was that the same type of folding could produce three different products – a ceiling/wall lamp, a pendant lamp, and a lam pshade for a table lamp. The wide edge helped create a folded, pleated lamp, which did not look like other contemporary lampshades. At the same time, the lampshade could be moved on the frame, creating different looks. Model 36 can be used as a ceiling lamp and wall lamp and is supplied in two sizes with a diameter of 55 cm and 65 cm, respectively. The lampshades continue to be made by hand, hand folded by LE KLINT’s pleating technicians at the company’s in-house production facilities in Odense, Denmark. Show more
