Le Lambswool is a beautiful wool, prepared with the special Scottish traditional savoir faire, spun and dyed in a family-owned mill in Scotland. It is composed of 100% Lambswool, the first cut from Merino Sheep, an absolutely beautiful quality. It is completely natural (0% synthetic). It has a rustic charm whilst being very soft to knit with and wear. It has been scoured and steamed, so contains no traces of spinning oil and has added loftiness. We love a crafted and handmade look, which always leave small traces of imperfections, which for us, are part of the charm of natural wool and of Biches & Bûches. The ball bands are designed with Caroline's handwriting with lots of care taken where the wool becomes small yarn balls, and each label manually added to each yarn ball.Pattern Ideas "Christstollen Cardigan" by Soumine @knits.pourmoi"Bough" by Jessica McDonald @jessicamknitsThe "Biscuit" Sweater by Alice Hammer"ZIG" by Andrea Mowry @dreareneeknitsBiches & Bûches Afterparty, Le Lambswool EditionBiches & Bûches no. 89 Yarn DetailsWeight - DKMeterage - 170 meters/ 185 yards per 50gGauge 19-21 sts and 24-26 rows per 4 inches/10cmNeedle Size - We love to knit Le Lambswool with needle sizes 4.0mm/ US6/ UK8 - 4.5mm/ US7/ UK7, or on a 5mm needle held with a lace weight yarnComposition and Origin - 100% Lambswool (Lamb from Merino Sheep) prepared with the special Scottish traditional savoir faire, by a family owned fiber mill in ScotlandCare - Hand Wash
