Le Jackette is knit in one piece cuff to cuff, using a mélange ( a mixture) of 3 or more yarns to create a delicious fabric alternating yarns and stitches (stockinette, reverse stockinette and garter stitch) *Included is a pattern option to knit left & right front plackets (front edgings) in garter for advanced knitters Sizes/chest circumference: S/M (32"- 38") - L/XL (38"- 46") Needle size: US 6 Gauge: block to fit) 4-5 stitches per inch (gauge is not that important for this project as Le Jackette will Experience Level: Advanced Beginner Yarn: A - Fingering sock weight approx. 400 yds B - lace weight mohair approx. 450 yds C - Slub or any fingering weight textured yarn approx. 425 yds D - for size L/XL only, one additional skein of either sock or mohair (This will add a 4th color)
