A vuggy, quartz rich gossan matrix featuring a wide and shallow open vug is richly lined with colourless pale greenish cream to Leadhillite crystals and minor orange-yellow Pyromor phite near the edges. This lovely miniature measures to 5.4 cm and is from Leadhills in Lanarkshire, Scotland, type locality for Leadhillite. The accompanying video shows this specimen in white LED light and ultraviolet light, with the Leadhillite displaying a fabulous bright lemon yellow fluorescence.
