This large drawstring knitting / crochet project bag is big enough to fit a whole sweater project. With the wide flat bottom and the sturdy support of heavier weight fabric, interfacing and lining, it will stand on its own so it's easier for you to dig in! The bag is made with Bookhou's cotton/linen canvas Leaf print in green. It is trimmed with a solid color waxed canvas (water repellent) bottom and fully lined with sturdy weight natural color cotton duck. There is a large interior pocket with 2 grommets to draw your yarn through. It has a drawstring top closure for those who prefer not getting their yarn caught on a zipper closure! Please note the drawstring might not totally close at first because of the sturdiness of the fabrics but will do so each time it's used. The wax canvas that is used on the bottom of the bag is known for its premium quality. The wax on the canvas creates the rugged texture look that you see on the fabric of the bag. It is highly recommended that waxed canvas NOT be washed as that will take the wax finish off. A periodic cleaning with a damp cloth is all that is needed. If you do decide to wash your bag, please know you will lose the benefits of the waxed coating on the bottom portion of the bag.
