This deluxe poly practice chanter made by Tartantown ensures near-durability while maintaining a tone that is comparable to wooden practice chanters. The deluxe model includes coun ter-sunk holes which replicate the feel of a pipe chanter. It also has a built-in water trap to allows you to play for longer time-periods. The spacing between holes is comparable to the spacing on a regular pipe chanter to ensure you can easily switch between practice chanter and bagpipe. Having the threaded reed seat will keep the reed from coming loose while playing and traveling. 44 cm (17") from tip of mouthpiece to very bottom. Counter-sunk holes and hemp sealed.
