Learn to Dye Workshop (acid dyes) Have you ever wanted to know how to create custom colours for your projects? This workshop is a fun way to learn the basics of how to dye yarn safely at home. In this 'classroom' portion, we will cover:• required tools & supplies• safety while dyeing• basic how-tos In the 'hands on' portion, its play time! You will:• dye 3 skeins of yarn (your choice of yarn base)• learn to dye simple variegated colourways• learn to dye tonals / semi-solid colours During the workshop, you will have plenty of one-on-one time with us, and you will be able to ask any questions that you want! 200g of yarn are included in the price of this workshop: a set of five mini skeins (choose either a Merino DK or Merino 4-ply Sock Yarn) As always with our workshops tea, coffee and biscuits are provided. After you purchase your workshop spot, we will send you information for more class details and a list of things you will need to bring with you. o Date: Saturday, February 20th 2027//Saturday, March 13th, 2027 o Time: 9:30pm – 4:00pm o Location: Sydenham VIC o We require payment in full in order to reserve a space. o You have to be at least 18 years old to attend this workshop. o We have a 15-day cancellation policy. Your payment will not be refunded unless you cancel at least 15 days before the workshop start time. o We reserve the right to cancel classes due to low enrollment or bad weather. Should this occur, all class fees will be refunded.
