Adults only please Take the first step in your knitting hobby and learn the knit stitch! 2nd Saturdays of each month, 11:30-1:30 Time: One 2-hour classesLevel 1 Nubian: fun and easy, no experience necessary Skills you need: wanting to have some fiber fun! Skills you’ll learn: knit stitch casting on Materials: 100-300 yards worsted weight wool, wool blend or other animal fiber in a light solid color. We suggest Sandnes Garn Alpakka Ull US#9 (5.5mm) needles Optional Materials: Recommendations: For the best early experience we highly recommend that you do not use straight aluminum needles, cotton or acrylic fibers or dark colors. We sure do appreciate it when you use Fuzzy Goat yarn in your Fuzzy Goat classes. Your purchase helps sustain us to be around for years to come. Preparation: Bring your needles and worsted yarn. Our team will cast on and knit a few rows to give you a base to start with, when you give us at least 30 minutes before class. Diana Navarra has been knitting since elementary school and loves to say she'd much rather knit than do housework. She is a long-time friend of the shop she has knit lots our samples.
