This class is an introduction to weaving on a rigid heddle loom. Students will be making a plain weave scarf. Warping, weaving vocabulary, loom parts, and how to tension your proje ct will all be covered over the course of the five week class. By the end of class you will have wove a narrow scarf and we will discuss finishing techniques. Yarn: 2 skeins worsted weight (1 skein should be a solid color and 1 skein variegated).
