Our quality Kangaroo leather is 0.8 thick and therefore has minimal give to stop your bevel from rounding when sharpening. Use either side of this leather. Use the suede side with our stropping compound. Use the smooth size for a final buff of your blade but be sure to remove any trace of stropping compound from your blade beforehand. Purchase 2 strips so you can keep one for each purpose or simply purchase one strip and cut in two.
