This is a straightforward leather satchel pattern with a large 3" deep main pocket, a smaller 1.5" deep front pocket, a large front flap, and an adjustable shoulder strap. I kept t he construction fairly simple, making this a good project if you're newer to leatherworking or just want a useful bag without a lot of complicated pieces. The finished satchel has plenty of room for everyday gear and can easily be customized with your own tooling, artwork, hardware, or other details.
