Nematodes are naturally found in soil—by using this product you are simply topping up the natural population.Leatherjackets are the larval stage of crane flies (daddy-long-legs). When adult crane flies emerge, they begin laying eggs within a few days that hatch and cause damage to your lawn within a couple of weeks—typically around late August but potentially sooner depending on weather.
