Take the guesswork out of warp prep with the Leclerc Yarn Yardage Counter—a precision tool that measures yarn length with accuracy and ease, ensuring consistent warp sections and efficient weaving. Whether you’re winding sectional warps or preparing bobbins, this dedicated counter helps reduce waste and save time while keeping your setup streamlined and professional. The Yarn Counter Weavers Rely On Accurate Yarn Measurement: Measures in 1/10th-yard increments (up to 999.9 yards), giving you precise control over warp length. A metric version is also available for measurements in meters. Purpose-Built for Sectional Warping: Designed to mount directly to the Leclerc Tension Box, the counter ensures that each warp section is measured evenly as you beam—essential for long warps and multi-shaft projects. Improves Warp Tension Consistency: In conjunction with the tension box, the counter helps maintain firm, even tension across your warp, minimizing issues like draw-in and uneven fell lines. Especially valuable for solo weavers or when prepping large projects. Helpful for Bobbin Winding: Track the exact length of yarn as you wind bobbins to avoid overfilling or unnecessary waste. Easy to Attach and Remove: Slides securely onto the tension box and can be quickly detached when not in use. Compatible with all Leclerc floor looms. Built to Last: Features a maple wood support base and smooth-functioning pulley, crafted with the same durability and attention to detail found across Leclerc’s century-long weaving legacy. Crafted for Consistency & Control This yarn yardage counter is ideal for weavers who use sectional warp beams and want to: Ensure uniform warp sections without remeasuring manually Maintain precise warp tension for better weaving results Track yarn usage for record-keeping or commercial projects Speed up prep time for long or complex warps Specifications Measurement Range: 0.0 to 999.9 yards (Imperial version); metric version also available Increment Precision: 0.1 yards or 0.1 meters Mounting: Attaches to the Leclerc Tension Box Materials: Maple wood base, mechanical counter, and metal pulley Compatibility: Fits all Leclerc floor looms Helpful Add-Ons Pair with these tools to maximize your warp prep setup: Leclerc Tension Box – Adjustable for all Leclerc floor looms Compact Loom Adapter – For Compact 24" loom compatibility Sectional Warp Beams – Available in multiple widths The Leclerc Yarn Counter is a small tool that makes a big impact.
