They also last a lot longer. Most LEDs are rated to 50,000 hours, as opposed to the average of 1000 hours for incandescent. They have superior light quality with less lumen deterioration. They are safer to operate because they generate less heat and run cool to the touch, therefore greatly reducing the risk of burns or fires. They are also more environmentally friendly with recyclable components and much greater lifespan (which can save up to 50 incandescent bulbs over the bulb's lifespan!). Installation note: Bulbs are polarity sensitive, if they are not working, take them out and rotate them 180 degrees.
