Lee 17 is a very hardy apple from Lloyd Lee of Barrhead, Alberta, and is believed to be a cross of Carroll and Wolf River. The large red apples can reach 3 to 4 inches across and h ave crisp juicy flesh with balanced sweet tart flavour. The fruit ripens in early September and keeps for about two months.
