Legendary Australians aims to promote an understanding of Australia’s multifaceted culture through the exploration of Australian achievement in the arts, in science, in sport and i n the exploration of this great land, all of which have contributed to Australia’s cultural identity. The activities in Legendary Australians are designed to foster a critical awareness of the historical and contemporary experiences of both indigenous and non-indigenous Australians.
