It is a reimagining of the Galaxy Explorer from 1979 and was released in part of the LEGO Gr oup’s 90th-anniversary celebrations. The set features a large spaceship with a blended delta wing design, three retractable landing legs, opening rear doors, a retractable ramp, a deployable rover with tools, an interior cockpit with seats for four astronauts, living quarters, computers, and storage compartments.It was retired in December 2023 with a lifespan of 16 months.
