A galileo clock, with knive edges escapement pendulum. This clock will run for long time thanks to its 60mm drop rate/hours. Which means with 720mm of string and place below, it will run for 12h. it has two concentrically hands (minute and hours) and a small other hand (second). It is only composed of official parts and is designed for high efficiency and accuracy. Only the weight is not a official part. This is a perfect gift for clock and mechanism lover, and provide great satisfaction for building and setting your own clock. You have to use a thin and heavy weight for running the clock. I advise to use a 650gr weight (water glass bottle for instance or metal bar). Please also note that the front red dial is supplied in green lime version as one the last picture Some tips : This clock is a complicated mechanism, you have to pay attention to this tips before starting building your clock : it is better to have already watch a mechanical clock to understand how it works. it is better if you have already build other big model with lot of gearing (in order to set the gearing correctly, not pressing the bush or gears against the bracing and so on, like 8258 or 8043 or 8880 or 8480) has a tiny but heavy bottle, in order that the bottle don’t touch the pendulum when it goes down. Of course you can use metal weight. Require weight is about 650gr with 50mm of maximum diameter.
