The Leica M3 Leather Ever-Ready Case (Shell) is one of those classic Leica accessories that feels just as thoughtfully engineered as the camera itself. Designed to protect the camera body while preserving quick access for shooting, these fitted leather shells became a common sight on working Leica cameras throughout the 1950s and 60s. Beyond offering protection from everyday bumps and scratches, an original Leica leather shell simply completes the look of an M3. Whether you're using your camera regularly or displaying it in a collection, an OEM case adds both authenticity and period-correct style. Original Leica accessories have become increasingly collectible in their own right, especially as complete M3 kits become harder to find. Condition: GOOD This leather shell is in good overall condition with normal wear consistent with age and use. The leather remains structurally sound, though there are a few areas where it has become somewhat brittle over time. A quality leather conditioner should help restore suppleness and improve the appearance of these areas. Hardware, stitching, and overall fit remain in good condition.
