Lembas, or Waybread, is a special travel bread made from an ancient recipe known only to the Elves. Wrapped in mallorn leaves, it stays fresh for months and a small amount can sust ain a person for days. It has come in quite handy over the ages, most famously as the only food eaten by Frodo and Sam for the most arduous part of their long journey to destroy the One Ring. Though no one but the Elves knows the true recipe, we imagined a fresh, crusty bread with a sprinkle of caraway and a little bit of pumpkin mixed in.
