I made this soap on a whim after getting a summery iced matcha at a coffee shop next to an organic nursery to pick out some herb babies for my garden. There were about a million different types of lavender plants to choose from and with my matcha in hand, it seemed like the two went together- both in color and tonality. Naturally, I had to add goat milk for the iced matcha theme and I chose lemon and lavender essential oils for the fresh feel of a sunny afternoon. The oils are infused with lemon verbena, lemongrass and lavender. Ceremonial matcha powder and Brazilian clays were used for skin purifiers and antioxidant quality, not to mention beautiful natural pigments of yellow, purple and green. This bar is topped with a sprig of locally farmed lavender and a dried lemon wedge. I think this soap is chock full of good vibes and just feels like an afternoon of self-care, creativity and sitting down for a chat with a wise weeping willow. All ingredients are organic and locally sourced when possible. Used herbs are offered back to Gaia as an offering of gratitude.
