It's great for teas, incense, cooking, and keeping (some) of those Texas pests away. It's lemongrass, also known as Cymbopogon citratus. Split the clumps of grass once they're well -established and you'll always have lemongrass on hand for whatever you need. Can be pruned to 6-12 inches in height and brough inside to overwinter when temperatures drop below 40F. Plant: March through August in Zone 8b. Partial shade to full sun preferred.
