Lemongrass is a tall tropical grass, Cymbopogon citratus, native to South and Southeast Asia. The lemon scent comes entirely from citral, a compound concentrated in the freshly cut leaves and stalks. Ayurvedic practitioners have used it as a cleansing agent for centuries. The essential oil is steam distilled from those same leaves. The scent in the bar is bright and direct. Citrus without being sweet. Clean without being clinical. Good for oily and acne-prone skin. Good after a run, after a long day, after anything that leaves you needing a full reset.
