Length by Length is an illustrated short story by artist Olivia Juett about finding peace and purpose in the tiles of a swimming pool. "This project traces my own experience of undertaking a sponsored swim for Parkinson's UK. My mum had just been diagnosed with a condition similar to Parkinson's, and I thought the practice of swimming would give me space to figure out what that really meant. Like the narrator, I was looking for an external answer to internal struggles. I can't say for sure what I found along the way, but I still value the sacred space provided by the pool."
