Original vintage Soviet propaganda poster with a poem by Vladimir Mayakovsky (1893-1930) "Lenin is with us, eternal and majestic, his thoughts, words and deeds spread through the G alaxy" below an image of Lenin (Vladimir Ilyich Ulyanov; 1870-9124) against front pages of the Russian newspaper Pravda with an image of a rocket in red featuring the Soviet hammer and sickle on it shooting into space with construction cranes flying a red flag below. Artwork by Nikolai Dolgorukov (1902-1980). The Pravda / Truth newspaper was founded in 1912 as the official paper of the Communist Party until the dissolution of the Soviet Union in 1991.
