Lion's Tail is a bold and architectural shrub that commands attention in the late season garden. In fall, it sends up tall, upright stems topped with striking, fuzzy, bright orange tubular flowers arranged in distinct, ball-like whorls that resemble a lion's tail. These fiery blooms are a powerful magnet for hummingbirds, butterflies, and bees. Fast-growing and drought-tolerant, it adds a strong vertical element and vibrant, warm color to sunny borders, water-wise gardens, or as a dramatic container specimen. Striking Orange "Lion's Tail" Flowers: Features unique, fuzzy, bright orange flowers held in whorls on tall, square stems.
