Macropharyngodon meleagris Reef Safe The Leopard Wrasse, scientifically known as Macropharyngodon meleagris, is a stunningly patterned species, featuring intricate leopard-like spo ts in shades of green, blue, and black across its body. This peaceful wrasse is highly sought after for reef aquariums due to its beauty and reef-safe nature, posing no threat to corals or most invertebrates. However, it can be challenging to acclimate and may require a mature tank with plenty of live rock for foraging. The Leopard Wrasse thrives in well-established aquariums with a sandy substrate for burrowing and ample hiding spots, making it a vibrant and rewarding addition to reef environments. These fish are for saltwater aquariums only. Due to variations within species, your item may not look identical to the image. Measurements are measured from the tip of the head to end of the tail.
