An adorable little gold and blue wooden bird by L'Équipée, finished with a bright red beak and two little brass legs. Like all animals in creation, each bird is unique, sizes, plum age colour and beak shape vary according to each individual. In Nairobi's boui-bouis, chick chips are very spicy fries that accompany nyama chomas (barbecue), and flirts worthy of the name. For L'Équipée it is a series of 10 species of birds from the Rift Valley, hand-carved by Nicodemas, an ornithologist sculptor.
