A wonderful, hand-painted lilac breasted roller bird with a blue and brown body and speckled green head, finished with the L'Équipée signature brass legs. Like all animals in creat ion, each bird is unique, sizes, plumage colour and beak shape vary according to each individual. In Nairobi's boui-bouis, chick chips are very spicy fries that accompany nyama chomas (barbecue), and flirts worthy of the name. For L'Équipée it is a series of 10 species of birds from the Rift Valley, hand-carved by Nicodemas, an ornithologist sculptor.
