This CD has everything from the TV en Français canon except the primary 2014 release. As such, it pairs well with the original TVeF CD or LP. That means that, for the first time on CD, you’re looking at the entirety of TV en Français: Sous la Mer, plus orphan tunes “Good Answer,” “Something About You,” “Let Me Win,” “Distillery,” and our iconic, important cover of “Take My Breath Away” (“Maverick Makes Love,” as it is popularly known). Presented in a not-particularly-impressive-but-totally-fine cardboard sleeve. But the smart move is to throw that sleeve out the window as soon as this comes in the mail, and slide the CD into your original TV en Français CD’s packaging, which, incredibly, has a slot ready and waiting! It’s as though we planned this ten years ago. (We didn’t — we’re just really lucky.) Again, for clarity: Does not contain the album TV en Français.
