The winery is certified organic since 2008 and biodynamic since 2015. This Seuvrées 2018 from the village of Gevrey-Chambertin is a very intense and bold wine. It starts with redcurrants (cassis) and cranberry sauce, blackcurrants, iron notes, followed by minerality notes of chalk, clay, then black pepper and iodine, cardamom and bay leaves. Yes, definitely a complex wine. The tannins are present and ripe. If this wine was a person, it would be an artist who makes you think.
