Junk journaling is the practice of incorporating a mix of art mediums and discarded materials to let loose and create freely and personally to you. During these sessions, we’ll reflect on the month previous and the month to come, giving permission for our creations to be “ugly” in the pursuit of creative freedom and personal discovery. Arrive with your journal and, if applicable, any scraps of material, ticket stubs, pictures, or pressed flowers you came across this month. The instructor will provide collage materials, crayons, markers, and pens, as well as whatever other fun odds and ends they come across. Come join us! We will have all junk, you just need to bring the journal. Crafty AF is located off 5442 S. Tacoma Way. There is a parking lot behind the building - off of S. Washington Street that our customers are welcome to use. The entrance is through the door with the Silver Kings sign above it. Please be aware that Crafty AF is an artistic space. We use a variety of materials such as paint, resin, glue and much more. Please wear clothing that you do not mind getting dirty. We do provide aprons and gloves here at Crafty AF. Workshops are to be reserved at least 48 hours in advance. This gives our artists time to prep the materials needed for the class. If you need to cancel, please let us know ASAP. No refunds will be given to any cancellations within 72 hours of the class. Our artists work hard to prep the workshops. We will try to assemble a Take Home Kit, or possibly a credit to a future class.
